Narrative:

I was working a military C5 en route to moffett in california. The C5 was cleared, by me, to moffett via oal-pxn-sns- hooks-nuq. I was also working a citation 560 en route to las via reno-bty-las and requesting FL410. I had stopped the citation at FL330 for the C5 as well as other traffic I had in the sector at FL350. I had several other aircraft at FL330 that the citation would be traffic for eventually and needed to climb the citation above that traffic as soon as possible. I was working approximately 20-25 aircraft in the sector at the time and the C5 had a military call sign. It had been several mins since I had cleared the C5 to moffett and when I observed the 2 aircraft, my mind told me the military C5 was going to travis AFB (most do) and the courses would be laterally separated. I then climbed the citation to FL410. When the C5 crossed coaldale he turned left approximately 40 degrees toward pxn and into the path of the citation. I did not observe the turn because of the rest of the traffic I was working. When the conflict alert activated the C5 was already less than 5 mi from the citation and I turned the C5 30 degrees right to go behind the citation. The reason for the error was my failure to remember the C5 was going to moffett (very unusual) instead of travis. This was the first error I have had in my 27+ yrs as a controller. The only thing I might recommend would be to place the destination in the data block. That may have reminded me the C5 was going to moffett instead of travis.

Title: ARTCC RADAR CTLR FORGOT THAT A C5 WAS GOING TO MIL BASE IN BAY AREA AND CLBED A C560 THROUGH HIS ALT IN THE VICINITY OF THE OAK VOR. CTLR DID NOT SEE C5 TURN TOWARDS PXN DUE TO OTHER TFC HE WAS WORKING AND WHEN THE CONFLICT ALERT ACTIVATED HE TURNED THE C5 TO PASS BEHIND THE C560. LTSS OCCURRED SHORTLY THEREAFTER.

Narrative: I WAS WORKING A MIL C5 ENRTE TO MOFFETT IN CALIFORNIA. THE C5 WAS CLRED, BY ME, TO MOFFETT VIA OAL-PXN-SNS- HOOKS-NUQ. I WAS ALSO WORKING A CITATION 560 ENRTE TO LAS VIA RENO-BTY-LAS AND REQUESTING FL410. I HAD STOPPED THE CITATION AT FL330 FOR THE C5 AS WELL AS OTHER TFC I HAD IN THE SECTOR AT FL350. I HAD SEVERAL OTHER ACFT AT FL330 THAT THE CITATION WOULD BE TFC FOR EVENTUALLY AND NEEDED TO CLB THE CITATION ABOVE THAT TFC ASAP. I WAS WORKING APPROX 20-25 ACFT IN THE SECTOR AT THE TIME AND THE C5 HAD A MIL CALL SIGN. IT HAD BEEN SEVERAL MINS SINCE I HAD CLRED THE C5 TO MOFFETT AND WHEN I OBSERVED THE 2 ACFT, MY MIND TOLD ME THE MIL C5 WAS GOING TO TRAVIS AFB (MOST DO) AND THE COURSES WOULD BE LATERALLY SEPARATED. I THEN CLBED THE CITATION TO FL410. WHEN THE C5 CROSSED COALDALE HE TURNED L APPROX 40 DEGS TOWARD PXN AND INTO THE PATH OF THE CITATION. I DID NOT OBSERVE THE TURN BECAUSE OF THE REST OF THE TFC I WAS WORKING. WHEN THE CONFLICT ALERT ACTIVATED THE C5 WAS ALREADY LESS THAN 5 MI FROM THE CITATION AND I TURNED THE C5 30 DEGS R TO GO BEHIND THE CITATION. THE REASON FOR THE ERROR WAS MY FAILURE TO REMEMBER THE C5 WAS GOING TO MOFFETT (VERY UNUSUAL) INSTEAD OF TRAVIS. THIS WAS THE FIRST ERROR I HAVE HAD IN MY 27+ YRS AS A CTLR. THE ONLY THING I MIGHT RECOMMEND WOULD BE TO PLACE THE DEST IN THE DATA BLOCK. THAT MAY HAVE REMINDED ME THE C5 WAS GOING TO MOFFETT INSTEAD OF TRAVIS.
