Narrative:

I had flight following, andrews controller vectored me off my course to the north and at 130 plus KTS dumps me in the ew corridor (perpendicular to corridor) (5 mi wide) and tells me to go VFR 1200 ft. I was not sure to go to gai or hgr direct. Only knew I was 15 mi north on his vectors. I asked for more help and was told I was out of his airspace, squawk 1200.
