Narrative:

Our company has a status board with all of the pertinent due dates concerning medicals, 6 month checks, etc. My medical due date was inadvertently erased and replaced with an incorrect date. I am responsible for insuring that all of the pilots are made aware of what checks are due. I therefore rely heavily on the status board. This reliance gave me a false sense of security. My medical was out of date by 1 day. Within 2 hours I had a new medical. The error was discovered by a ramp check. Safety of flight was not an issue.
