Narrative:
I taxied up and stopped at hold short line for runway 1L sfo. Runway 1L used for takeoff only. I allowed aircraft to roll across hold short line when aircraft in #1 position was cleared into position for takeoff. Problem arose when I perceived the need to move forward to allow another aircraft that was taxiing to runway 1R to pass behind me. My perception of where I was on the taxiway was wrong. No corrective action was taken as the aircraft that was in position for takeoff was cleared for takeoff and I was cleared into position shortly after. I made a mistake pure and simple. Supplemental information from acn 347830: captain's wife was having surgery during this time period and I felt he may have been distracted.

Title: AN ACR MLG CREW TAXIED PAST THE HOLD SHORT LINE TO ALLOW ANOTHER ACFT MORE WINGTIP CLRNC. THE MOVE WAS NOT NECESSARY. ERROR ADMITTED. TAXIING TFC.
Narrative: I TAXIED UP AND STOPPED AT HOLD SHORT LINE FOR RWY 1L SFO. RWY 1L USED FOR TKOF ONLY. I ALLOWED ACFT TO ROLL ACROSS HOLD SHORT LINE WHEN ACFT IN #1 POS WAS CLRED INTO POS FOR TKOF. PROB AROSE WHEN I PERCEIVED THE NEED TO MOVE FORWARD TO ALLOW ANOTHER ACFT THAT WAS TAXIING TO RWY 1R TO PASS BEHIND ME. MY PERCEPTION OF WHERE I WAS ON THE TXWY WAS WRONG. NO CORRECTIVE ACTION WAS TAKEN AS THE ACFT THAT WAS IN POS FOR TKOF WAS CLRED FOR TKOF AND I WAS CLRED INTO POS SHORTLY AFTER. I MADE A MISTAKE PURE AND SIMPLE. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 347830: CAPT'S WIFE WAS HAVING SURGERY DURING THIS TIME PERIOD AND I FELT HE MAY HAVE BEEN DISTRACTED.
