In sum: foreign private pilot landed on the taxiway parallel to runway 27L. He asked the tower if runway 27L was the long or the short runway. The tower replied it was the short one. The reporter then aligned himself with the taxiway. He realized he was landing on a taxiway at about 50 ft AGL and decided to continue with the landing to avoid flying over the runway 13 final. He also said he landed on the taxiway north of runway 27L.

Title: FOREIGN PLT LANDS ON TXWY.

Narrative: IN SUM: FOREIGN PVT PLT LANDED ON THE TXWY PARALLEL TO RWY 27L. HE ASKED THE TWR IF RWY 27L WAS THE LONG OR THE SHORT RWY. THE TWR REPLIED IT WAS THE SHORT ONE. THE RPTR THEN ALIGNED HIMSELF WITH THE TXWY. HE REALIZED HE WAS LNDG ON A TXWY AT ABOUT 50 FT AGL AND DECIDED TO CONTINUE WITH THE LNDG TO AVOID FLYING OVER THE RWY 13 FINAL. HE ALSO SAID HE LANDED ON THE TXWY N OF RWY 27L.
