Narrative:

A normal VMC landing to runway 36 at dca. PF was first officer. Confign: flaps 40 degrees, autobrake set at '2' setting. Approximately 4-5 seconds after nosewheel touchdown, a wheel shimmy/shaking began that rapidly became more and more severe as aircraft slowed. Speed just under 100 KTS when it began. Captain assumed control from first officer when speed less than 60 KTS. At very end of landing roll, captain's tiller could not steer aircraft, and it came to a stop at intersection of runway 36 and runway 33. Aircraft not quite clear of runway 36. Runway was closed for 15-20 mins until we were towed off. Touchdown was normal, not hard. Braking was normal. Aircraft was towed to parking, passenger deplaned, no injuries. No other abnormalities were noted and no emergency was declared. Nosewheel torque link had failed/sheared from bottom of nose strut. Left front tire blown out, right nose gear cut, but remained inflated. Foreign object damage from torque link broke TCASII antenna, and also damaged right side engine, breaking fan blades and putting numerous holes in inside of engine cowling. No damage to core section was noted.
