Narrative:
Local altimeter setting was 29.75. My so wrote down the ATIS as 29.95. We descended below 8000 ft clearance limit due to incorrect altimeter setting.

Narrative: LCL ALTIMETER SETTING WAS 29.75. MY SO WROTE DOWN THE ATIS AS 29.95. WE DSNDED BELOW 8000 FT CLRNC LIMIT DUE TO INCORRECT ALTIMETER SETTING.
