Narrative:

Navigation deviation. ATC frequency: mia. ATC facility: center. Location: virginial key 008/40. Cleared to intercept the heat arrival into mia and I set in the 008 degree radial instead of the 018 degree radial by mistake. ATC facility: mia approach. Location: north of mia airport. On departure from mia, clearance was to fly a heading to intercept the hedly transition. By mistake we had dialed in the dolhpin VOR rather than the VOR to identify the hedly transition. ATC noticed the error and gave us direct mco. No conflict occurred.
