Narrative:
On takeoff runway 13, laguardia to boston logan at 300 ft AGL, #3 engine 'spooled down' -- quit. Captain was flying and completed clean up of aircraft. Declared emergency. First officer given control of aircraft, captain and so 'worked the problem.' vectors to jfk requested. Uneventful landing ensued by captain. Excellent crew coordination including flight attendants and flight crew. Fifth leg of day for flight crew (9TH hour).
