Narrative:

After holding 35 mins inbound to dfw due to dfw WX diverted to okc. Several other aircraft also diverted to okc. Since our day started at XA30 local and it was XB44 local when we landed at okc we were concerned about our crew duty day-scheduled XC01 and our flight time scheduled XD53. Several other crews were also concerned as we all openly discussed it on operations frequency since no gates were available and none of us blocked in. All aircraft exits on our airplane remained armed. We discussed with the operations agent on the radio about letting several passenger off since okc was their final destination. Operations said they would send out a truck to pick up passenger and that's when we mentioned we might be illegal if we recorded an in time by opening an exit door. The operations agent then said she talked with dispatch and crew tracking and said they were legal to go if we did not open a door and we would refuel and get the paperwork through the cockpit window, which is what they had done in the past. Otherwise we would record and in event and not be able to depart again because of crew duty day and flying over 8 hours. Not able to find anything about this specific situation in flight manual part 1 or in my contract -- we agreed -- thinking this would be considered 1 flight leg. Therefore a walk around inspection was not accomplished. Subsequently someone, I assume dispatch or okc operations agent put an in time in the computer 5 mins after okc on time.

Title: DIVERTED TO OKC DUE TO DFW WX. DUTY TIME GETTING TIGHT. ELECTED TO KEEP ALL PAX DOORS SHUT SO THERE WOULD BE NO 'RECORD' OF HAVING ARRIVED AT OKC. FOR THE SAME REASON, NO WALK AROUND WAS PERFORMED AT OKC.

Narrative: AFTER HOLDING 35 MINS INBOUND TO DFW DUE TO DFW WX DIVERTED TO OKC. SEVERAL OTHER ACFT ALSO DIVERTED TO OKC. SINCE OUR DAY STARTED AT XA30 LCL AND IT WAS XB44 LCL WHEN WE LANDED AT OKC WE WERE CONCERNED ABOUT OUR CREW DUTY DAY-SCHEDULED XC01 AND OUR FLT TIME SCHEDULED XD53. SEVERAL OTHER CREWS WERE ALSO CONCERNED AS WE ALL OPENLY DISCUSSED IT ON OPS FREQ SINCE NO GATES WERE AVAILABLE AND NONE OF US BLOCKED IN. ALL ACFT EXITS ON OUR AIRPLANE REMAINED ARMED. WE DISCUSSED WITH THE OPS AGENT ON THE RADIO ABOUT LETTING SEVERAL PAX OFF SINCE OKC WAS THEIR FINAL DEST. OPS SAID THEY WOULD SEND OUT A TRUCK TO PICK UP PAX AND THAT'S WHEN WE MENTIONED WE MIGHT BE ILLEGAL IF WE RECORDED AN IN TIME BY OPENING AN EXIT DOOR. THE OPS AGENT THEN SAID SHE TALKED WITH DISPATCH AND CREW TRACKING AND SAID THEY WERE LEGAL TO GO IF WE DID NOT OPEN A DOOR AND WE WOULD REFUEL AND GET THE PAPERWORK THROUGH THE COCKPIT WINDOW, WHICH IS WHAT THEY HAD DONE IN THE PAST. OTHERWISE WE WOULD RECORD AND IN EVENT AND NOT BE ABLE TO DEPART AGAIN BECAUSE OF CREW DUTY DAY AND FLYING OVER 8 HRS. NOT ABLE TO FIND ANYTHING ABOUT THIS SPECIFIC SIT IN FLT MANUAL PART 1 OR IN MY CONTRACT -- WE AGREED -- THINKING THIS WOULD BE CONSIDERED 1 FLT LEG. THEREFORE A WALK AROUND INSPECTION WAS NOT ACCOMPLISHED. SUBSEQUENTLY SOMEONE, I ASSUME DISPATCH OR OKC OPS AGENT PUT AN IN TIME IN THE COMPUTER 5 MINS AFTER OKC ON TIME.
