Narrative:

In sum: reporter received a call from a maintenance control supervisor reporting a nose gear red light on. Reporter thought that there were 2 landing gear indicating system installed. Cycled gear 3 times, confirmed nose gear up and locked visually, nose gear lights out, green lights operating normally. Reporter received a call from aircraft in-flight with mechanic onboard. Maintenance control requested pla under item 32-3. Reporter overlooked footnote in column 5, center instrument indication must operate normally. Reporter rushed pla paperwork before aircraft was out of radio range. There was also possible problem with communications downline. Request MEL be deleted. Aircraft not configured with 2 system.
