Narrative:
Air carrier Y, B737 was eastbound at FL290. Air carrier X (CL65) was nebound at FL310. Due to an oversight I descended air carrier X to FL290 and put the aircraft in conflict with the air carrier Y jet. I quickly realized this oversight and stopped the air carrier X jet's descent at FL303, but lost separation. The error was one of oversight.
Original NASA ASRS Text
Title: ARTCC RADAR CTLR OVERLOOKED TFC AT FL290 BELOW A B737 THAT HE WAS GOING TO DSND AND STARTED THE B737 DOWN TO LOWER ALT. RPTR REALIZED THE POTENTIAL CONFLICT AND STOPPED THE B737 DSCNT, BUT SEPARATION WAS LOST.
Narrative: ACR Y, B737 WAS EBOUND AT FL290. ACR X (CL65) WAS NEBOUND AT FL310. DUE TO AN OVERSIGHT I DSNDED ACR X TO FL290 AND PUT THE ACFT IN CONFLICT WITH THE ACR Y JET. I QUICKLY REALIZED THIS OVERSIGHT AND STOPPED THE ACR X JET'S DSCNT AT FL303, BUT LOST SEPARATION. THE ERROR WAS ONE OF OVERSIGHT.
