Narrative:

Leaving tus for flight to mmho with 1 patient on board. Leaving tus on an IFR clearance. I was cleared by ground control to taxi to runway 11L at taxiway A6 for an intersection takeoff. As I arrived at A6, an airliner was cleared for takeoff on runway 11L from the end. As the airliner passed my position, I called the tower to report ready to go. Tower said hold short for wake turbulence. A short time later (maybe 1 min at most) I heard 'taxi into position and hold.' I acknowledged 'position and hold,' as I lined up on the centerline, tower said I had been cleared for position and hold on runway 11R and to taxi across runway 11L and was now cleared for takeoff on runway 11R. I acknowledged this transmission and said that I had not heard runway 11R. I completed the takeoff with no other comments from the tower. No other aircraft were involved. It was just to prevent me from holding for wake turbulence.

Narrative: LEAVING TUS FOR FLT TO MMHO WITH 1 PATIENT ON BOARD. LEAVING TUS ON AN IFR CLRNC. I WAS CLRED BY GND CTL TO TAXI TO RWY 11L AT TXWY A6 FOR AN INTXN TKOF. AS I ARRIVED AT A6, AN AIRLINER WAS CLRED FOR TKOF ON RWY 11L FROM THE END. AS THE AIRLINER PASSED MY POS, I CALLED THE TWR TO RPT READY TO GO. TWR SAID HOLD SHORT FOR WAKE TURB. A SHORT TIME LATER (MAYBE 1 MIN AT MOST) I HEARD 'TAXI INTO POS AND HOLD.' I ACKNOWLEDGED 'POS AND HOLD,' AS I LINED UP ON THE CTRLINE, TWR SAID I HAD BEEN CLRED FOR POS AND HOLD ON RWY 11R AND TO TAXI ACROSS RWY 11L AND WAS NOW CLRED FOR TKOF ON RWY 11R. I ACKNOWLEDGED THIS XMISSION AND SAID THAT I HAD NOT HEARD RWY 11R. I COMPLETED THE TKOF WITH NO OTHER COMMENTS FROM THE TWR. NO OTHER ACFT WERE INVOLVED. IT WAS JUST TO PREVENT ME FROM HOLDING FOR WAKE TURB.
