Narrative:

I landed aircraft on county road, taxied to parking roadway secured by ground personnel, all access/egress controled for duration of event, approximately 5 mins. Local auths objected, aircraft removed with permission. No accident, incident, or damage to persons or property. Prior to landing, pilot researched FARS and complied with same for safe operation of flight. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the reporter was flying a C152 on a visit to his aunt and uncle. They live 'out in the country' on a road that, when blocked off, provide a landing strip about a mi long. Apparently some spectator thought that the aircraft had a problem, and called the local law. The law offered to give him a ticket, then backed off and wondered how he had done the landing. His insurance allows off airport lndgs, as does the far. He has now arranged to use a neighbor's private airstrip on an 'occasional basis.' he had not heard from the FAA on this. Hempstead's 'pea patch airport' is about 30 mi away from the farm.
