Narrative:

This report related to my previous report. B767 operation manual says, 'gear are now down and locked.' the word now should read, 'not' vice now. Also in vol 1 of B767 tailskid fail to extend in gear section should note that the confign warning will sound when flaps extended to 25 degrees. The din creates a lot of indecision that could lead to a pilot making a flap 20 degree landing when in fact punching the GPWS confign is the problem. In short, press button to quell the din and land. All the noise is uncalled for and confusing.
