Narrative:

We were 20 mi west of bacus, navigating on AR8. The controller advised us we were 20 mi south of course. We crosschecked our FMC with the vors and we were off course, we quickly corrected our heading and got back on course. The controller advised us there was no problem with traffic conflict or airspace restr. We found our problem to be, I had put the wrong originating airport in the FMC (stt instead of stx). All of our gross error checks showed us to be on course. We did have to go off course several times for WX and we were also cleared direct bacus 400 mi south.
