Narrative:

On rotation we had an unscheduled propeller feather on the #2 engine, basically a V1 cut. The reason I'm writing is to stress the importance of the checklist memory items. The actual emergency was different than the simulator, because you kind of expect things to happen in the simulator. Had the captain not have been as prepared as he was, he did the memory items immediately, I believe I wouldn't be sitting here writing this!!
