Narrative:
Departed mco on mcoy departure. Cleared direct crg and FL230. Later cleared to FL280. Upon reaching FL280, ATC told us to level at FL280. Captain replied that we were at FL280, and ATC answered 'I thought I cleared you to FL270.' we both remember being cleared to FL280. Controller indicated no conflict or violation. 'No problem at all.' so I doubt any report was filed.

Title: FLC ATC MISCOM. CTLR FORGOT THAT HE HAD ALREADY CLRED RPTR FLC TO FL280.
Narrative: DEPARTED MCO ON MCOY DEP. CLRED DIRECT CRG AND FL230. LATER CLRED TO FL280. UPON REACHING FL280, ATC TOLD US TO LEVEL AT FL280. CAPT REPLIED THAT WE WERE AT FL280, AND ATC ANSWERED 'I THOUGHT I CLRED YOU TO FL270.' WE BOTH REMEMBER BEING CLRED TO FL280. CTLR INDICATED NO CONFLICT OR VIOLATION. 'NO PROB AT ALL.' SO I DOUBT ANY RPT WAS FILED.
