Keller radar site was taken OTS at XA30 local for an hour with about 5 mins of warning. The site covers all the arrs and departures to the dallas/ft worth metroplex. When it goes OTS you are non-radar normally between 8000 and 10000 ft and below depending on WX conditions. The keller lrr site has been going down due to bearing problems and needs a long term fix to bring back reliability. At the end of the hour, they couldn't bring the radar back to service and had to extend the outage for another hour.
