Narrative:

After completing a lifeguard flight, I requested from clearance delivery if we could get a 'local IFR' clearance back to ft lauderdale international, our home base, 18 NM away. We do that for the last 2 1/2 yrs. After 15 mins I asked the controller if he had anything yet. He said no, and I told him I will call him back when we were ready to taxi out. 15 mins later we called and received our clearance and taxied out. We had to hold short of the main taxiway, which we did, by 10- 15 ft or so. We saw a B747 taxiing on the main taxiway and the outbound engines appeared to be about 20 ft past the edge of the taxiway, about our location. I advised ground control and they told us to taxi ahead of the B747 to the end of the taxiway, make a 180 degree and after he exits taxi to our destination, the other end of the taxiway for takeoff. Also they said to call the supervisor number. Upon arrival at fll I called mr X who was obviously upset at me, because I was 'rude' and 'demanding' of his clearance controller for the local IFR clearance, a job that I should have done through the flight service. I explained to him that we were doing that all the time, since they never said 'no' or 'unable.' he got more upset for being rude again. He also cited that we did not hold short of the main taxiway and we taxied after the B747 exited the taxiway without further clearance. In my 19 yrs flying and 10 yrs on the learjet I've never heard a more 'burned out' 'overloaded' controller supervisor. His claims were unfounded and uncalled for and he threatened me to 'drop it' and 'forget it' or it is far 91.169 violation.

UPON ARR AT FLL I CALLED MR X WHO WAS OBVIOUSLY UPSET AT ME, BECAUSE I WAS 'RUDE' AND 'DEMANDING' OF HIS CLRNC CTLR FOR THE LCL IFR CLRNC, A JOB THAT I SHOULD HAVE DONE THROUGH THE FLT SVC. I EXPLAINED TO HIM THAT WE WERE DOING THAT ALL THE TIME, SINCE THEY NEVER SAID 'NO' OR 'UNABLE.' HE GOT MORE UPSET FOR BEING RUDE AGAIN. HE ALSO CITED THAT WE DID NOT HOLD SHORT OF THE MAIN TXWY AND WE TAXIED AFTER THE B747 EXITED THE TXWY WITHOUT FURTHER CLRNC. IN MY 19 YRS FLYING AND 10 YRS ON THE LEARJET I'VE NEVER HEARD A MORE 'BURNED OUT' 'OVERLOADED' CTLR SUPVR. HIS CLAIMS WERE UNFOUNDED AND UNCALLED FOR AND HE THREATENED ME TO 'DROP IT' AND 'FORGET IT' OR IT IS FAR 91.169 VIOLATION.
