Narrative:
Cruising at FL250 cleared to cross fak at FL220. Altitude and FMS set up properly. Became distraction while briefing approach to iad. FMS failed to descend at proper time and pilot failed to notice. Called center and descended immediately.

Narrative: CRUISING AT FL250 CLRED TO CROSS FAK AT FL220. ALT AND FMS SET UP PROPERLY. BECAME DISTR WHILE BRIEFING APCH TO IAD. FMS FAILED TO DSND AT PROPER TIME AND PLT FAILED TO NOTICE. CALLED CTR AND DSNDED IMMEDIATELY.
