Narrative:

I was landing on runway 22 at put in bay (OH30). When I was downwind and made my base and final, I apparently was closer than 500 ft horizontal to the perry's monument that's located on the approach of runway 22. I was flying in for the first time. A park employee (ranger?) called and said that he was reporting me. I feel that I was 500 ft away but he did not agree.
