Narrative:

I did not catch altitude restr for a MEL. I am used to looking for an MEL reference number for pack inoperative or flight level restr -- not a worded reference to inoperative pack. According to a dispatcher who had the airplane before and after me, the pack physically worked ok, but maintenance had to defer it. Contributing factor to my missing the restr were the distrs of working an unfamiliar desk (I am a relief/rotating dispatcher) and constant revisions of releases due to weight (cargo) additions. Corrective action: any restr should be spelled out or xrefed by MEL number to MEL with restr.
