Narrative:

Was attempting to contact bwi approach and was told to stay clear of class B. Reason for contact was to request class B clearance. Controller accused pilot of violating class B airspace and was told to contact TRACON upon landing. Informed controller that both GPS and DME indicated that at no time was aircraft closer than 20.8 NM. Upon landing at iad telephoned TRACON and supervisor agreed that radar did show that we were outside of class B and controller was wrong. Attitude of original controller was such that he could have caused a less experienced pilot to become upset and emotional. This 'mental' interference caused by TRACON controller was totally unnecessary.
