Narrative:

Per our airline company procedure, our company customer service/ramp agent brought out our weight and balance/flight manifest to be filled out prior to our departing (flight XXX), lnk direct mci. A later inspection of the manifest revealed that the basic operating weight provided to me by the agent was a wrong number. It should have been 10584 pounds, but was instead 10804 pounds, an error of 500 pounds. However, this did not cause us to be out of center of gravity or balance, either one, or over zero fuel weight.
