Narrative:

First officer flying flight IAS-aus. All aspects normal until the flare from on speed stabilized visual approach to runway 13R. The aircraft (MD80) floated excessively and we had not touched down passing the 4000 ft remaining marker. I commanded a go around which the first officer correctly performed but due to late initiation the wheels touched (barely). Recent events at my airline combined with the appearance of the runway, which has pronounced hump in it, may have made me a little gun shy causing my first (unintentional) touch-and-go under part 121 with passenger.
