Narrative:

Local altimeter at grr was 29.25. Forgot to reset altimeter when climbing above FL180. When we leveled at FL260 we were 500 ft high, made an immediate descent to correct altitude and reset altimeter to 29.92. We have an altitude awareness program that is great but we both missed this one. We had a XA30 am departure with a rather short layover (10 hours 15 mins) we arrived at airport 45 mins prior to departure and I didn't feel sluggish but must have been.
