Narrative:

We were departing teb on runway 24. Tower stated radar contact around 300 ft MSL. After a min I asked if I could get a frequency for departure. The controller stated he was trying to effect a handoff to stand by. I continued to climb and around 2200-2500 ft MSL I called tower to see if the handoff was taken. He stated that I must have a stuck microphone and told me to descend below 1500 ft MSL. Then stated unable to effect a handoff to squawk 1200 and remain clear of class B. Contributing factors: mechanical failure of microphone (being replaced).

I CONTINUED TO CLB AND AROUND 2200-2500 FT MSL I CALLED TWR TO SEE IF THE HDOF WAS TAKEN. HE STATED THAT I MUST HAVE A STUCK MIKE AND TOLD ME TO DSND BELOW 1500 FT MSL. THEN STATED UNABLE TO EFFECT A HDOF TO SQUAWK 1200 AND REMAIN CLR OF CLASS B. CONTRIBUTING FACTORS: MECHANICAL FAILURE OF MIKE (BEING REPLACED).
