I was notified by company fleet manager on the morning of apr/xf/96 that I am under investigation by the FAA for a possible altitude excursion on descent into lax on apr/xa/96. I have no knowledge of such an event and nothing was brought to my attention by ATC regarding such an excursion. I am filing this report in abundance of caution.
