Narrative:

Descending from 4000 ft to 3000 ft on intercept (of localizer) heading. The PF inadvertently hit the throttle go around switch. This commanded both go around pitch and thrust. No altitude was violated and the approach was recovered and safe landing was made. The go around situation was alarming to numerous passenger. Also flap speed for flaps 5 degrees was exceeded by about 20 KTS.

Title: ON AN INTERCEPT HDG FOR APCH, PF INADVERTENTLY HIT THE THROTTLE GAR SWITCH CAUSING GAR PITCH AND THRUST. ACFT WAS RETURNED TO THE APCH FOR A NORMAL LNDG. DUE TO THE SUDDEN INCREASE OF THRUST, THE 5 DEG FLAP SPD WAS EXCEEDED BY 20 KTS.
