Narrative:

I was on a routine flight to the bay area. The week prior I had received permission from a private landowner to land my helicopter on their property. I surveyed the area by foot at that time, taking into account inbound and outbound hazards as well as structures. I landed after making an approach along a ridgeline, and turning base and final away from structures. My parents met me at the site, and I was showing them the workings of the helicopter (it was running). A woman appeared, visibly very angry. My crew chief was tied up with some other persons, and made no move to detain this woman. She was approaching the helicopter from the uphill side of the ship and was in danger of being hit by the blade. I pulled collective to avoid any accident and remained aloft, out of the area, until she left. This woman accuses me of flying 30 ft over her house (I was 1/4 mi away at +/-100 ft), and said she was going to call the FAA. In addition, she called 911 prompting emergency service to respond. The fire department, ambulance, and sheriff all arrived. The sheriff determined that there were no violations, but I am sending in this report to prevent any fabrications on this woman's part from damaging my career. I certainly would not have landed had I thought there was going to be this type of attention. I removed the helicopter from the area after picking up my crew chief.

Title: HELI PLT LANDED ON PVT PROPERTY AFTER HAVING GAINED THE PERMISSION OF THE LANDOWNER. A WOMAN APCHED THE HELI WHILE IT WAS RUNNING AND THE PLT FOUND IT NECESSARY TO AVOID AN ACCIDENT BY PULLING COLLECTIVE AND REMAINING ALOFT UNTIL THE WOMAN LEFT. THE WOMAN RPTED THE OP TO EMER AND ENFORCEMENT OFFICIALS.

Narrative: I WAS ON A ROUTINE FLT TO THE BAY AREA. THE WK PRIOR I HAD RECEIVED PERMISSION FROM A PVT LANDOWNER TO LAND MY HELI ON THEIR PROPERTY. I SURVEYED THE AREA BY FOOT AT THAT TIME, TAKING INTO ACCOUNT INBOUND AND OUTBOUND HAZARDS AS WELL AS STRUCTURES. I LANDED AFTER MAKING AN APCH ALONG A RIDGELINE, AND TURNING BASE AND FINAL AWAY FROM STRUCTURES. MY PARENTS MET ME AT THE SITE, AND I WAS SHOWING THEM THE WORKINGS OF THE HELI (IT WAS RUNNING). THIS WOMAN ACCUSES ME OF FLYING 30 FT OVER HER HOUSE (I WAS 1/4 MI AWAY AT +/-100 FT), AND SAID SHE WAS GOING TO CALL THE FAA. IN ADDITION, SHE CALLED 911 PROMPTING EMER SVC TO RESPOND. THE FIRE DEPT, AMBULANCE, AND SHERIFF ALL ARRIVED. THE SHERIFF DETERMINED THAT THERE WERE NO VIOLATIONS, BUT I AM SENDING IN THIS RPT TO PREVENT ANY FABRICATIONS ON THIS WOMAN'S PART FROM DAMAGING MY CAREER. I CERTAINLY WOULD NOT HAVE LANDED HAD I THOUGHT THERE WAS GOING TO BE THIS TYPE OF ATTN. I REMOVED THE HELI FROM THE AREA AFTER PICKING UP MY CREW CHIEF.
