Narrative:

During taxi out just short of the hold line for runway 29 at sdf, during the turn from taxiway G to the hold short position, we departed the taxiway with the nose gear. The captain was attempting to protect the right main from exiting and the taxiway was wet. As first officer, I saw no discernible difference from our taxi procedure the previous week on the same taxiway and runway path. Aircraft had to have nose towed back onto the taxiway. Supplemental information from acn 332343: I pulled forward extra (nose over the grass) to make sure my mains would stay clear on the right. I pulled too far forward and the nosegear slipped off the edge. No damage. The airport remained open.
