Narrative:
On or about mar/xx/96, while on a training cross country my student was cleared by lakeland tower to land on runway 23. As we descended on glidepath to the runway, at 300 ft AGL, I detected an aircraft on the same glidepath 50 ft below. Evasive action, left 45 degree bank, 360 degrees to return on the glidepath for landing.

Narrative: ON OR ABOUT MAR/XX/96, WHILE ON A TRAINING XCOUNTRY MY STUDENT WAS CLRED BY LAKELAND TWR TO LAND ON RWY 23. AS WE DSNDED ON GLIDEPATH TO THE RWY, AT 300 FT AGL, I DETECTED AN ACFT ON THE SAME GLIDEPATH 50 FT BELOW. EVASIVE ACTION, L 45 DEG BANK, 360 DEGS TO RETURN ON THE GLIDEPATH FOR LNDG.
