Narrative:

The airplane had electrical problems on its approach into burbank. We had someone look at it and they gave us a jump start. We turned on the radios and everything seemed to be working so we took off right away so we could get back to sna before dark. Right after takeoff everything started to go, so we pulled out the hand held radio and continued because it was VFR and we could see the ground. We ended up at chino because the WX got worse.
