The center notified the reporter that he was 4 NM east of V585. The reporter rechked his VOR settings. Both were set to 137 degrees and should have been 147 degrees. The reporter was distracted due to close monitoring of engine instruments after the 100 hour check. The reporter corrected back on course and continued uneventfully.
