Narrative:

This portion of the flight was supposed to be the easy one!! It followed a 2 hour law enforcement flight involving air to ground surveillance. I picked up the taxi clearance and began to taxi to the runway. I acknowledged runway 26 but taxied to runway 30. I crossed the active runway 26 without hesitation due to two factors: I was assigned this runway 30 earlier in the day with the wind blowing from the same direction (290 degrees at 22 KTS). The more difficult mission was already completed, or so I thought. Lesson learned. The only flight that counts or matters is the one being conducted.
