Narrative:

We received an altimeter of 29.15 during our descent, upon leaving 18000 ft, 30.15 was mistakenly set. After our leveloff at 11000 ft we became aware of the mistake and corrected it which put us at 10000 ft. A request to approach control to maintain 10000 ft was granted with no apparent conflict. The remainder of the flight was normal.

Title: WRONG ALTIMETER SETTING. INSTEAD OF SETTING 29 PT 15, THEY SET 30 PT 15. BECAUSE THE ALTIMETER WAS LOWER THAN USUAL, THEY PROBABLY FOLLOWED HABIT PATTERNS. FLC REALIZED THEIR ERROR AND ASKED FOR NEW ALT CLRNC WHICH WAS GIVEN.
