Narrative:

Release/dispatch being held hostage for previous days flight times. Flight times entered at XA30 to XA33 dispatch was not printed until XB12 (which was scheduled departure time). Now having a late departure, captain quickly glanced at release and signed it. At cruise altitude captain looked more closely at release and noticed first initial of captain's name was wrong. Corrective action: do not hold dispatch hostage for times. If times need to be entered just tell us. We're all adults.
