Narrative:

While taxiing from taxiway A5 to gate Y we narrowly missed taxiing into another aircraft (beech 1900). Due to rain on windows, no wipers on side windows, and grey paint scheme on the parked aircraft we could not see it until past the point where turning would have been possible. The pole lights are located on the highway side of the ramp so inbound crews are looking into the lights. I feel that either the grey paint should be changed or some sort of reflective strips be applied. (This goes for grey ground equipment also.)
