Narrative:

On a sunday afternoon I departed AL15 to the north to make a few touch and goes. My LORAN was apparently malfunctioning because I began to do touch and goes at what my LORAN said was foley airport. After the second touch and go a van came out to the end of the runway and was observing my touch and goes. The van was apparently a military van so when I gained enough altitude I checked over the area with my new orleans sectional and determined that I was at the wrong airport (by about 3-4 mi). The map did not indicate in any way that I can determine, that one shouldn't land at that airport. After calling several other local pilots, they too thought it was ok to land there, but I'm not absolutely sure, so I filed this report. The airport was nolf-wolf.

Title: PLT OF AN SMA PRACTICED TOUCH AND GOES AT THE WRONG ARPT. THE RPTR HAD USED LORAN TO LOCATE THE INTENDED DEST, BUT STATED THAT IT MUST HAVE MALFUNCTIONED. WRONG ARPT LNDG.
