Narrative:

On approach to dtw runway 27R, PF called for gear down. Switched to tower frequency. PF called for flaps 25 degrees and gear horn sounded. No nose gear green light. Turned nose gear landing light off and on, no change in illumination. Made a go around. Extended gear with manual extension system. Stowed manual extension lever after we had 3 green indications. Landed normally. Maintenance could not duplicate with the aircraft on jacks. Flushed hydraulic system, replaced landing gear selector valve as remedy.
