Flying from cvg to sea we received multiple clearance 'direct' to points ahead of flight plan. We were cleared direct to abr. Out of abr both PF and I set J90 (was J90 inbound) versus J70 outbound. Center called us to 'confirm our routing' which caused us to see our error. There was no conflict and we were cleared direct down the route.

Title: FLC OF AN LGT SET THE WRONG VOR RADIAL (WRONG AIRWAY) AFTER PASSING OVER VORTAC CAUSING ATC INTERVENTION TO ALERT THEM OF THEIR ERROR.

Narrative: FLYING FROM CVG TO SEA WE RECEIVED MULTIPLE CLRNC 'DIRECT' TO POINTS AHEAD OF FLT PLAN. WE WERE CLRED DIRECT TO ABR. OUT OF ABR BOTH PF AND I SET J90 (WAS J90 INBOUND) VERSUS J70 OUTBOUND.
