Narrative:

Company filed flight plan was entered into FMS. ATC changed our route and both rtes were displayed on pre departure clearance. We misread the pre departure clearance. Departure control discovered we were not on the correct airway and vectored us to the proper route. Most pre departure clearance's display the filed route only because that is the one that is approved. Lesson learned -- don't assume -- read the ATC clearance.

Title: PDC INCLUDED FILED ROUTING AS WELL AS REVISED ROUTING. FLC FAILED TO NOTICE THE REVISION AND WASN'T DISCOVERED UNTIL AIRBORNE WHEN DEP CTLR GAVE THEM THE REVISED ROUTING.

Narrative: COMPANY FILED FLT PLAN WAS ENTERED INTO FMS. ATC CHANGED OUR RTE AND BOTH RTES WERE DISPLAYED ON PDC. WE MISREAD THE PDC. DEP CTL DISCOVERED WE WERE NOT ON THE CORRECT AIRWAY AND VECTORED US TO THE PROPER RTE. MOST PDC'S DISPLAY THE FILED RTE ONLY BECAUSE THAT IS THE ONE THAT IS APPROVED. LESSON LEARNED -- DON'T ASSUME -- READ THE ATC CLRNC.
