Narrative:

I was on an IFR flight plan from ptw to hfd. Over ign the icing became more intense. Deicing equipment was no longer effective, windshield was completely covered, no forward visibility. Shot approach at hfd, missed and continued on to bdl. Shot the ILS runway 6 at bdl. Just before touchdown plane stalled and fell 100-150 ft, landed hard on right main and nosewheel, became airborne and veered left off runway into snowbank, became airborne again, add power, flew plane back onto runway. Came to a stop, on runway, taxied to FBO. Damage propellers on both sides, no injury or structural damage.
