Narrative:

Left dfw with non airworthiness open item in logbook. Had 2 maintenance problems unrelated to this item, as well as a last min gate change, and, as first officer, I did not follow company procedure which requires my verification of entries. I attribute this to my being too concerned about the late departure and gate change.
