Narrative:

I was cleared to taxi to runway 35 at sdf. Upon reaching the runway, I noticed a hold short line to my left, #1, but chose to taxi ahead and use the full length of the runway. In doing this, I did not notice the hold short line, #2, and continued ahead to point #3. Contributing factors: lack of knowledge of airport layout, improper use of airport diagram, improper division of scan inside aircraft and outside, performance of pre-takeoff checklist. I noticed I had crossed line when trying to locate the hold short line. No corrective action was taken because I was cleared for takeoff immediately upon request, no aircraft had to be diverted.
