Engine surging, overspd after departure from flint, mi, plus electrical surging also. Precautionary landing at detroit metropolitan with normal gear down and locked indications. Airplane landed on belly with gear up. I was not injured. All checklists, normal and emergency, were observed.

Narrative: ENG SURGING, OVERSPD AFTER DEP FROM FLINT, MI, PLUS ELECTRICAL SURGING ALSO. PRECAUTIONARY LNDG AT DETROIT METRO WITH NORMAL GEAR DOWN AND LOCKED INDICATIONS. AIRPLANE LANDED ON BELLY WITH GEAR UP. I WAS NOT INJURED. ALL CHKLISTS, NORMAL AND EMER, WERE OBSERVED.
