Narrative:

Normal takeoff and acceleration. First officer attempted early rotation of aircraft. Captain resisted yoke movement rotation. First officer felt the resistance and interpreted the condition as a jammed elevator. He called for a takeoff abort. Captain acknowledged the abort call, assumed something serious had been seen or happened that he didn't see and immediately rejected the takeoff well below actual V1. Post abort critique revealed first officer's V1 and vr speeds were misset by 10 KTS slow. This was the reason for the early rotation and exaggerated the urgency of the perceived condition for the first officer. No damage or conflict resulted from the aborted takeoff. Routine delay for brake cooling and maintenance inspections combined for a 2 hour delay total.

Title: FO MISSET AIRSPD BUGS (V SPDS) FOR TKOF, ON TKOF ROLL WHEN APCHING VR (ROTATE) SPD, FO STARTED ROTATION, BUT CAPT, SEEING THE SPD WAS TOO SLOW, APPLIED PRESSURE ON THE YOKE TO PREVENT THE EARLY ROTATION. BECAUSE THE CAPT DIDN'T VERBALIZE WHAT HE WAS DOING, THE FO THOUGHT THERE WAS A CTL PROB AND INITIATED THE ABORT.

Narrative: NORMAL TKOF AND ACCELERATION. FO ATTEMPTED EARLY ROTATION OF ACFT. CAPT RESISTED YOKE MOVEMENT ROTATION. FO FELT THE RESISTANCE AND INTERPRETED THE CONDITION AS A JAMMED ELEVATOR. HE CALLED FOR A TKOF ABORT. CAPT ACKNOWLEDGED THE ABORT CALL, ASSUMED SOMETHING SERIOUS HAD BEEN SEEN OR HAPPENED THAT HE DIDN'T SEE AND IMMEDIATELY REJECTED THE TKOF WELL BELOW ACTUAL V1. POST ABORT CRITIQUE REVEALED FO'S V1 AND VR SPDS WERE MISSET BY 10 KTS SLOW. THIS WAS THE REASON FOR THE EARLY ROTATION AND EXAGGERATED THE URGENCY OF THE PERCEIVED CONDITION FOR THE FO. NO DAMAGE OR CONFLICT RESULTED FROM THE ABORTED TKOF. ROUTINE DELAY FOR BRAKE COOLING AND MAINT INSPECTIONS COMBINED FOR A 2 HR DELAY TOTAL.
