Narrative:

Nose gear pin left in nose after overnight maintenance check. Walk around was completed, nose pin is very difficult to see, there was no flag attached to pin. 2 other pins were observed in pin holder. Third hole was covered by life preserver flap. Nose gear would not retract after takeoff. Returned. Removed pin.

Narrative: NOSE GEAR PIN LEFT IN NOSE AFTER OVERNIGHT MAINT CHK.
