Narrative:

During boarding at sfo, the gate agent brought an acm to the front of the first class section to ask permission for him to ride in the cockpit. When the acm left the aircraft to get his bags, the crew learned that he may be using an expired airline identify to gain access to the cockpit jump seat. After leaving the gate at sfo, we verified that the identify was not valid and we asked our sfo operations to advise our hnl operations to have security meet the aircraft on arrival at the gate in hnl. We were met in hnl by both security and the FAA. The acm paid for a ticket from sfo to hnl so our company did not press for any charges against him and we were told that the FAA took his identify. The FAA has been looking for this person for a long time so why did the airlines not have a warning note in their computers to stop him from riding acm?
